I am an Associate Research Fellow at Deakin University and the Centre for Resilient and Inclusive Societies (CRIS), where my research focuses on racism and anti-racism, intercultural relations, migration and mobilities. My academic background is largely in social anthropology and includes a PhD on work pursuits and intercultural connections among Eritrean migrants in Melbourne. My recent publications have appeared in outlets such as Ethnic and Racial Studies, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, and the Routledge International Handbook of Contemporary Racisms.
