Noorie is a Ph.D. researcher in the School of Social Sciences at Western Sydney University. Noorie's expertise lies in the fields of Racism, Refugee crisis, Far-right extremism, Gender and Development, Men, and Masculinity. Noorie has 08 years of experience with a couple of organizations, notably: All Together Now, ILO and BRAC.

In 2016 she received an ADB-JSP scholarship to pursue the Masters in Gender and Development at Asian Institute of Technology, and in 2019 she received Western Sydney University's Post Graduate Research Scholarship to conduct Ph.D. on Roles and Effects of Transversal Enablers in Refugee Settlement in Australia.
